terms of service

these terms are the agreement between you and broh for using the service. by creating an account or texting your agent, you agree to them. if you do not agree, do not use broh.

the service

broh gives you a personal AI agent you talk to over iMessage. it can converse, remember, connect to apps you authorize, and take actions on your behalf, including making phone calls. it is an AI: it is helpful and it is fallible. verify anything important before you rely on it, and do not treat its output as medical, legal, or financial advice.

eligibility and accounts

you must be 18 or older. the service is invite-only while in beta. keep your Apple account and phone secure: anyone who can text from your number can talk to your agent. you are responsible for activity from your account.

messaging

broh works by exchanging messages with you, so by signing up you consent to receiving messages from your agent, including ones it starts (reminders, updates, call reports). message frequency depends on what you ask of it. you can quiet it by telling it to stop, and end everything by deleting your account.

calls made on your behalf

when you confirm a call, you authorize broh to place it for you and to represent that it is calling on your behalf. calls are transcribed so your agent can report back to you. you agree to use calling lawfully and considerately: no harassment, no deception that harms others, no unlawful solicitation, and you are responsible for ensuring your use of calling is legal where you and the people you have broh call are located.

connected apps

connecting an outside app grants your agent access to it through the permissions you approve. you can disconnect any app at any time from your dashboard, and you are responsible for what you ask your agent to do with your accounts.

acceptable use

do not use broh to break the law, harm people, harass anyone, send spam, infringe others' rights, or attempt to breach the security of the service. we can suspend or terminate accounts that do.

billing

paid plans are billed by subscription through our payment processor. usage allowances (like monthly calling budgets) are part of the plan. you can cancel anytime, effective at the end of the billing period. except where the law requires otherwise, fees are non-refundable.

your content

your conversations and data remain yours. you give us the limited license needed to operate the service: to process, store, and transmit your content so your agent can do its job. see the privacy policy for how data is handled and deleted.

disclaimers

the service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the agent's outputs or actions will be accurate or fit for a particular purpose.

limitation of liability

to the maximum extent permitted by law, broh is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

termination

you can leave anytime by deleting your account, which erases your data. we can suspend or terminate the service for breach of these terms, and we will be reasonable about it.

governing law

these terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, and disputes belong to the courts of Ontario.

changes

we may update these terms as the service evolves. for material changes we will notify you in the product or by message before they take effect; continuing to use broh after that means you accept them.
